Here’s my first (exciting!) update for my revamped portfolio. After earning my certificate in Front End Web Development 2 from Code Louisville, I decided to take on a couple of pet projects to test out and build my skills.
True Crime Watering Hole
The True Crime Watering Hole started as my final project for my Web Development 2 class. I hope to have it complete by Summer 2022. You can read more on the project’s portfolio page.
In future iterations, I hope to make this more customizable so that this can be used as a watering hole for any hobby.
The Write Time
The idea for a writer’s timer has percolated in my mind for years. Through my fiction writing journey, I’ve found numerous pomodoro timers online for productivity and apps that help you track your word count and writing goals, but I couldn’t find any that allowed me to do both in exactly the way that I wanted.
More details to come. I hope to have this app completed by Fall 2022.
